WEBTOON and Warner Bros. Animation have announced the expansion of their animated slate with four new webcomic adaptations, according to a press release dated June 18, 2026. The partnership, first established in 2023, aims to bring popular digital comics to animated series and films.
The four new titles include Lore Olympus, The God of High School, True Beauty, and Eleceed, as confirmed by WEBTOON's official announcement. These join previously announced projects such as UnOrdinary and Hooky.
Warner Bros. Animation will develop these projects for streaming and television, with no specific release dates announced yet. The adaptations are part of a broader trend of webcomics being adapted into mainstream media.
WEBTOON, a platform owned by Naver, has over 90 million monthly active users globally. The company has previously seen success with adaptations like Sweet Home on Netflix and Tower of God on Crunchyroll.
