Waves Audio has announced the release of eMo IEM, a new immersive in-ear monitor mixing plugin designed for its eMotion LV1 live software mixer. The plugin was officially launched at the 2026 NAMM Show, held from April 10-13 in Anaheim, California.
The eMo IEM plugin is engineered to provide musicians and audio engineers with 360-degree panning capabilities directly within their in-ear monitor mixes. This feature aims to deliver a more natural, open, and comfortable listening experience on stage by simulating the spatial awareness of a traditional stage wedge monitor setup.
According to the company, the plugin integrates seamlessly with the LV1 mixer, allowing users to create personalized, immersive mixes with a single click. Waves Audio states that the tool is designed to reduce ear fatigue and improve clarity for performers using in-ear monitors during live events.
The announcement was part of Waves Audio's presentation at the 2026 NAMM Show, where the product was demonstrated. The plugin represents a continued development in the company's ecosystem of live sound tools aimed at enhancing the performer's monitoring experience.
