MANILA, Philippines β Some areas in Metro Manila, Rizal, and Cavite will experience water service interruptions this week due to scheduled maintenance and high demand, according to Manila Water Company Inc. and Maynilad Water Services Inc.
Manila Water announced that parts of Metro Manila and Rizal province will be affected from May 4 to May 6, 2026, due to pipeline maintenance and upgrades. Affected areas include specific barangays in Quezon City, Makati, and Pasig, as well as towns in Rizal such as Antipolo and Taytay.
Maynilad, meanwhile, said that some areas in Cavite and parts of Metro Manila will have interruptions from May 5 to May 7, 2026, due to high demand and maintenance works. The company advised residents to store enough water for the duration of the service interruption.
Both water concessionaires urged customers to check their official social media pages and websites for the complete list of affected areas and schedules. They also reminded the public to use water wisely during the dry season.
