Promoter Frank Warren has hinted that a 'massive' world title bout between Anthony Cacace and Leigh Garner could be on the horizon. Speaking to Boxing News on June 21, 2026, Warren stated, 'It's a fight that makes sense for both guys and the fans.'
Cacace, the current IBF super-featherweight champion from Belfast, has a record of 22-1 with 8 KOs. Garner, a British contender from Liverpool, holds a 15-0 record with 7 KOs and is the current WBO European champion. No official date or venue has been announced.
Warren added that negotiations are in early stages but expressed optimism. 'Both fighters want the biggest challenges, and this is it,' he said.
