Warner Bros. Ranch in Burbank, California, has been selected as the site for the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) during the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, according to an announcement by LA28 organizers on July 10, 2026.
The facility, spanning over 1 million square feet, will host broadcasters from around the world, providing production and transmission services for the Games. The ranch, known for its backlot and soundstages, will be repurposed to meet the technical demands of the Olympics.
LA28 officials stated that the choice leverages existing infrastructure to reduce costs and construction time. The IBC is expected to employ thousands of workers during the Games, which run from July 14 to July 30, 2028.
Warner Bros. Discovery, a key media partner, will oversee operations. The ranch has previously been used for film and TV productions, including shows like 'Friends' and 'The Big Bang Theory.'
