The Beatrice Pembroke Walsh Foundation has received a donation of €2,140, raised through a raffle at the recent Nationalist Sports Star Awards. The presentation was made to foundation chairperson David Walsh by Ger McNally and Sue O'Neill from The Nationalist newspaper.

The funds were generated from a raffle held during the awards ceremony, which took place at The Woodlands House Hotel in Adare, County Limerick. The event, now in its 22nd year, celebrates the sporting achievements of individuals and teams across Limerick.
