According to Chilean media reports, the breakdown was due to disagreements over personal terms and contract duration. Vozinha, whose full name is Josimar Dias, had been expected to bolster Colo-Colo's goalkeeping options for the upcoming season.
The 39-year-old goalkeeper, who currently plays for AEL Limassol in Cyprus, has been a key figure for the Cape Verde national team. His experience and shot-stopping ability had made him an attractive target for the Santiago-based club.
