Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Vilda emphasized the importance of the match, noting that a victory would allow Morocco to top Group A. The team has already qualified for the quarter-finals, but Vilda stressed the desire to maintain momentum and finish first.
Senegal, who are also in contention, will be looking to secure their own advancement. The match is scheduled for Monday, August 4, 2026, at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat.
