USM Alger to Face RS Berkane in CAF Confederation Cup Semis

Algeria's USM Alger will play Morocco's RS Berkane in the CAF Confederation Cup semifinals after the draw was held in Cairo.

The draw for the semifinals of the 2025-2026 CAF Confederation Cup was conducted on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. The Algerian club USM Alger was paired with Moroccan side RS Berkane.

USM Alger qualified for the semifinals by defeating Libya's Al Ahli Tripoli 2-1 on aggregate in the quarterfinals. RS Berkane advanced after a 1-0 aggregate victory over Egypt's Zamalek SC.

The first leg of the semifinal tie is scheduled to be played on April 12-13, 2026, with the return leg set for April 19-20. The winner will advance to the final of Africa's secondary club competition.

This matchup continues a recent trend of North African clubs dominating the latter stages of the tournament. The other semifinal will see Egypt's Modern Future FC face South Africa's Stellenbosch FC.
