University of New Mexico men's basketball wing Antonio Chol has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to multiple reports confirmed on April 13, 2026. The redshirt junior will seek a new program for his final season of collegiate eligibility.
Chol, a 6-foot-8 forward from Omaha, Nebraska, appeared in 32 games for the Lobos during the 2025-26 season, averaging 2.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. He played a reserve role for a UNM team that finished the season with a 24-10 record and reached the second round of the NIT.
His entry into the portal comes during the spring transfer window, which allows players to explore opportunities with other schools. Chol began his college career at Buffalo before transferring to New Mexico ahead of the 2023-24 season. He will have one year of eligibility remaining at his next destination.
