The University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) conferred 182 degrees during its summer commencement ceremony held on Friday, July 31, 2026. The ceremony took place in the Health and Sports Center on the UNK campus.
According to the university, the graduating class included 145 bachelor's degrees, 36 master's degrees, and 1 doctoral degree. The graduates represented a diverse range of disciplines across the university's colleges.
UNK Chancellor Doug Kristensen addressed the graduates, encouraging them to use their education to make a positive impact in their communities. The ceremony also recognized several students for academic excellence and leadership.
The summer commencement marks the end of the academic year for many students, with the next scheduled commencement set for December 2026.
