United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate John Muchina has conceded defeat in the Ol Kalou parliamentary by-election, congratulating his rival from the Democratic Congress Party (DCP), Sammy Kamau Waweru, on his decisive victory. The by-election was held on July 16, 2026, to fill the seat left vacant by the death of former MP David Kariuki.
