The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party has assured all aspirants seeking elective seats in the 2027 general election of free and fair nominations. This commitment was made during a consultative meeting for the Kamba community held in Machakos.
Speaking at the event, Mary Mutinga, a member of the party's elections commission board, emphasized the party's dedication to transparent and credible internal elections. She stated that the party would implement measures to ensure a level playing field for all candidates.
The meeting in Machakos is part of broader efforts by UDA to engage with various communities and address their concerns ahead of the 2027 polls. The party aims to strengthen its grassroots support and ensure inclusive participation in its nomination processes.
