As of June 2026, the United Arab Emirates has expanded its visa-on-arrival program to include citizens from six additional nationalities. According to official announcements from the UAE Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), travelers from India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Morocco, and Kenya can now obtain a visa upon arrival at UAE airports and land borders.
The new policy allows eligible passport holders to receive a 14-day visa-on-arrival, which can be extended for an additional 14 days for a fee. This move is part of the UAE's broader strategy to boost tourism and business travel, aligning with its goal to attract 40 million visitors by 2031.
Travelers must ensure their passports are valid for at least six months from the date of entry. The visa is available for single entry only and cannot be used for employment purposes. The UAE government has emphasized that this policy is subject to change and recommends checking with the nearest UAE embassy or official website before travel.
