Senegal's U17 national team coach, Lamine Sané, has announced a 23-player squad for the 2025 U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), scheduled to take place in Morocco from March 30 to April 19, 2025.
The squad includes players from various local clubs, such as Génération Foot, Diambars, and AS Dakar Sacré-Cœur. Notable call-ups include goalkeeper Serigne Fallou Ndiaye and forward Ousmane Diallo.
Senegal is placed in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, Uganda, and Tanzania. The team will begin their campaign against Uganda on March 31, 2025.
The tournament serves as a qualifier for the FIFA U17 World Cup, with the top four teams securing a spot in the global competition.
