The Tribeca Festival has announced that two Israeli films will have their world premieres at its 2026 edition in New York. The festival is scheduled to run from June 5 to June 16.

Pribar's previous film, "Asia," won the Ophir Award for Best Film in 2020.
The second Israeli film premiering is "The Man in the Basement," directed by Yona Rozenkier. This film explores the story of a family dealing with the sudden reappearance of a father who was presumed dead. Rozenkier is known for his previous work on "The Dive" and "The Home."
The inclusion of these films is part of the festival's international lineup, which showcases global cinema. The Tribeca Festival, co-founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff, is a major annual event in the New York cultural calendar.
