Two French nationals died on June 21, 2026, when their small aircraft crashed in a rural area near Beni Mellal, Morocco, according to a statement from the Moroccan Ministry of Transport and Logistics. The plane, a single-engine Socata TB-10, was en route from Marrakech to Fez when it went down around 2:30 PM local time.
Emergency services responded to the crash site, but both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. The victims were identified as a 58-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, both French citizens residing in Morocco.
