Two men have died and four people were injured in a serious road traffic collision on the N15 main Donegal-Ballybofey road at Clar, County Donegal, on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The incident occurred shortly after 2pm when two vehicles collided.
Gardaí confirmed that two male occupants of one vehicle, one aged in his 20s and the other in his 30s, were pronounced dead at the scene. The bodies were removed to Letterkenny University Hospital for post-mortem examinations.
Four other individuals, including the occupants of the second vehicle, were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The road was closed for a technical examination by Garda forensic collision investigators, with local diversions in place.
