TUI, the German travel group, has announced that it will launch a new route between London Gatwick and Tangier in summer 2027. The service is part of a broader expansion of TUI's flight offerings to Morocco, which will see the addition of Tangier among eight new destinations.
The announcement was made on 24 September. The new link is expected to boost tourism and connectivity between the United Kingdom and northern Morocco, providing travellers with direct access to Tangier and the surrounding region.
TUI already operates flights to several Moroccan cities, and the addition of Tangier reflects growing demand for travel to the country. The route will be operated from London Gatwick, one of the UK's busiest airports.
Further details, including flight frequency and schedules, have not yet been disclosed. The service is scheduled to begin in summer 2027.
