Triumph Motorcycles has officially launched its new Scrambler 400 X model in the Indian market. The motorcycle is priced starting at Rs 2.43 lakh (ex-showroom), according to the company's official announcement and verified automotive news reports.
The Scrambler 400 X is powered by a 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It features a long-travel suspension, a high-mounted exhaust, and wire-spoke wheels designed for on- and off-road capability.
The launch is part of Triumph's strategy to expand its presence in the mid-capacity segment in India, following its partnership with Bajaj Auto. The model directly competes with other popular scrambler and adventure-style motorcycles in the 400cc category.
