Transavia, the low-cost airline of the Air France-KLM group, announced on Monday, July 20, 2026, that it will increase its flights from Paris-Orly to Ouarzazate and Dakhla, Morocco, to three weekly services. The expansion is part of a partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), according to a statement from the ONMT.
The new frequencies will begin in the winter 2026-2027 schedule, with flights operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays for Ouarzazate, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays for Dakhla. This represents a significant increase from the current two weekly flights to each destination.
The move aims to boost tourism to southern Morocco, particularly to the Draa-Tafilalet and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab regions, which are known for their desert landscapes and coastal attractions. The ONMT has been actively promoting these destinations as part of its 'Morocco, Land of Light' campaign.
Transavia already serves several Moroccan cities from France, including Marrakech, Agadir, and Essaouira. The airline operates a fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft on these routes.
