According to recent sales data from Toyota Motor North America, the Toyota RAV4 has been the best-selling Toyota model in the United States for the first half of 2026, with sales exceeding 200,000 units through June. This surpasses other popular models like the Tacoma and Camry.
The RAV4's strong performance is driven by its hybrid variants, which account for a significant portion of sales. Toyota reported that overall US sales for the first half of 2026 were up 8% compared to the same period in 2025, with the RAV4 leading the charge.
While the Tacoma remains a top seller in the pickup segment, it trails the RAV4 in total volume. The Camry also saw strong sales but did not surpass the RAV4. Toyota's electrified vehicle sales, including hybrids and plug-ins, reached a record high in the first half of 2026.
