John Tortorella, who was hired as head coach of the Vegas Golden Knights late in the 2025-2026 NHL season, has led the team to the Stanley Cup Final. The Golden Knights defeated the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference Final to advance.
Tortorella, a veteran coach with a Stanley Cup win in 2004 with the Tampa Bay Lightning, is now one win away from joining an elite group of coaches who have won the Cup with two different teams. He took over the Golden Knights in March 2026 after the team struggled early in the season.
The Golden Knights will face the winner of the Eastern Conference Final between the Florida Panthers and the Carolina Hurricanes in the Stanley Cup Final, which begins in June 2026.
