The mother of a 14-year-old girl who went missing from Toronto more than three days ago is tearfully appealing for information that will help bring her home safely.
Esther, who is affectionately known as Esti, was last seen around 11:30 p.m. on May 17, 2026, in the area of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue. She is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a slim build, long brown hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and white running shoes.
Toronto police are investigating and have asked anyone with information to contact them at 416-808-5300 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477). The family has also set up a dedicated tip line.
In an emotional press conference on May 20, the girl's mother, speaking through tears, said, 'Esti, if you're out there, please know we love you and we just want you home. Anyone who knows anything, please come forward.'
