Toronto Fire Services has issued a public safety warning after multiple incidents involving a promotional ice sculpture for Drake's upcoming album, "For All the Dogs Scary Hours Edition." Fire Chief Matthew Pegg confirmed that crews responded to calls on the evening of Tuesday, April 21, 2026, regarding "dangerous and unsafe activities" near the sculpture located in the city's downtown core.
According to verified reports, individuals were attempting to use lighters and heat guns on the large, melting ice block, which is engraved with the album's title. These actions created a significant fire hazard and risk of injury from melting ice and potential electrical issues. The sculpture is part of a viral marketing campaign for the rapper's new release.
Chief Pegg emphasized that applying open flames or high heat to the structure is extremely dangerous. "Not only does this pose a burn risk to individuals, but it also risks damaging public property and creating unsafe conditions for everyone in the area," he stated. The fire service is monitoring the location and urges the public to view the promotional display from a safe distance without interfering with it.
