President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, as the new Chairman of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). The appointment was confirmed in a statement by the President's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, on March 31, 2026.
In a separate move, President Tinubu has also nominated seven individuals for confirmation as Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC). The nominees are: Tonye Jaja, William Odiong, Dutse Amadu, Ejike Ezeh, Garba Bala, Mahmud Kambari, and Isa Buratai.
The nomination letters for the NPC commissioners were transmitted to the Senate for confirmation on the same date. The appointments are part of the administration's efforts to strengthen key government agencies responsible for corporate regulation and national demographic planning.
