Three people have died following a single-vehicle crash in Perth's eastern hills on Saturday morning, with police and emergency services attending the scene on Stoneville Road near the intersections of Timbertop Way and La Grange Road.
The vehicle left the road at approximately 8:50am and struck a tree. All three occupants of the vehicle were killed at the scene. The identities of the deceased have not been publicly confirmed pending notification of next of kin.
Major Crash Investigation officers attended the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Stoneville Road was closed in the area for a period while investigations were carried out.
Western Australia Police have urged anyone with information about the crash, or who may have witnessed the vehicle travelling in the area prior to the incident, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
