Tesla has launched a new promotion offering one year of free Supercharging to customers who purchase a new Model 3 in the Premium or Performance trim. The offer applies to vehicles delivered between April 26, 2026 and May 31, 2026, according to Tesla's website.
This is not the first time Tesla has used free Supercharging as an incentive. The company previously offered free Supercharging for Model S and Model X in 2019, and has run similar promotions for other models in limited markets. The current promotion is limited to the Model 3 lineup and does not include the Model Y or other vehicles.
Customers who take delivery of a qualifying Model 3 will receive one year of unlimited free Supercharging at Tesla's network of over 50,000 Supercharger stalls worldwide. The offer is tied to the vehicle and cannot be transferred to another car or owner.
Tesla ended its lifetime free Supercharging program in 2018, but has since used shorter-term free Supercharging offers to boost sales during specific periods. The company did not disclose the cost of the promotion or how many vehicles it expects to sell under the offer.
