PETALING JAYA: TAS Offshore Bhd has announced the passing of its managing director, Datuk Lau Nai Hoh, at the age of 75. The company confirmed the news in a filing with Bursa Malaysia, stating that Lau passed away on April 27, 2026.
Lau was appointed to the position on March 18, 2008, and served as a major shareholder of the shipbuilding and repair company. He was also the father of Lau Cho, who is a director at TAS Offshore.
The company expressed its condolences to Lau's family and said that operations would continue as usual under the leadership of the existing management team. TAS Offshore is a Malaysian-based provider of offshore support vessels and shipbuilding services.
