The Tanger Med industrial platform recorded a turnover of 188 billion Moroccan dirhams (approximately $18.7 billion) in 2025, according to figures released by the Tanger Med Group. This represents significant growth for the industrial and logistics complex, which is a key driver of Morocco's economy.
The platform hosts over 1,100 companies and has created more than 100,000 direct jobs. Major sectors include automotive, aeronautics, logistics, and textiles. The revenue figure underscores the zone's role as a major export hub, particularly for the automotive industry, which is its leading sector.
The Tanger Med port complex, adjacent to the industrial zone, is the largest port in Africa and the Mediterranean. Its performance is intrinsically linked to the industrial platform's output, facilitating the export of goods manufactured within the zone. Continued investment in infrastructure is aimed at sustaining this growth trajectory.
