Nigerian women's national football team, the Super Falcons, have reported a theft incident at their hotel in Casablanca, Morocco, on the eve of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). According to team officials, a total of $1,220 was stolen from the players' rooms.
The players have accused the hotel's cleaning staff of being responsible for the theft. The incident has caused distress among the squad as they prepare for the tournament.
