Morocco's General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has issued a weather warning for strong wind gusts and thunderstorms expected on Thursday, April 24, and Friday, April 25, 2026. The alert covers several regions, including the Rif, the Middle Atlas, and the eastern highlands.
According to the DGM, wind gusts could reach up to 75 kilometers per hour in some areas, accompanied by localized thunderstorms and possible hail. The warning is in effect from Thursday morning through Friday evening.
Residents in affected areas are advised to secure loose objects and avoid outdoor activities during peak storm hours. The DGM recommends staying updated through official channels for any changes in the forecast.
