Stellantis has officially launched production of the Fiat Fastback and Fiat Grizzly at its manufacturing plant in Kenitra, Morocco, as of July 2026. The facility, which is part of Stellantis' global manufacturing network, will assemble these models for local and potentially export markets.
The Fiat Fastback is a compact crossover coupe, while the Grizzly is a rugged, off-road-oriented variant. Both models are built on the same platform and are designed to appeal to different consumer segments. The Kenitra plant has been operational since 2019 and produces several Stellantis brands, including Peugeot, Citroën, and Opel.
This expansion aligns with Stellantis' strategy to increase production capacity in Africa and the Middle East. The company has invested significantly in the Kenitra facility to support the assembly of new models and to meet growing demand in the region. Production volumes and specific market launches have not been disclosed.
