The partnership, effective April 2026, will see Southern Glazer's handling a broader portfolio of Edrington's premium spirits across the state.
According to a joint statement, the expanded agreement covers both on-premise and off-premise channels, aiming to increase availability of Edrington's luxury brands. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The move is part of a broader trend of consolidation in the U.S. spirits distribution market.
Edrington's portfolio includes The Macallan single malt whisky, Highland Park, The Glenrothes, and Brugal rum. Southern Glazer's is the largest wine and spirits distributor in the United States, operating in 44 states. The expanded distribution is expected to enhance brand visibility and consumer access in the competitive New York market.
