On May 9, 2026, SM Cares, the corporate social responsibility arm of SM Prime Holdings, in partnership with the Autism Society Philippines (ASP), hosted the 2026 ASP Angels Walk with SM. The event, held simultaneously in multiple SM malls across the Philippines, drew 47,500 participants, making it the largest gathering of autism advocates in Southeast Asia.
The walk aimed to raise awareness and promote inclusion for people on the autism spectrum. Participants included families, educators, and supporters from various communities, all wearing blue to show solidarity.
SM Cares has been a long-time partner of ASP, supporting programs that provide resources and opportunities for individuals with autism. The event also featured activities and information booths to educate the public about autism.
