Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic has been appointed to officiate the Brazil vs Morocco match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, according to FIFA's official referee assignments. The match, taking place on 14 June 2026, is one of the early group stage fixtures.
Vincic, born on 25 November 1979 in Maribor, Slovenia, is an experienced UEFA referee. He has officiated several high-profile matches, including the 2024 UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, and the 2023 UEFA Europa League final between Sevilla and Roma.
This will be Vincic's first World Cup assignment. He has been a FIFA-listed referee since 2010 and has refereed matches in UEFA European Championships and World Cup qualifiers.
