The victim, identified as Ava Chen, was reported missing in October 2025. Her decomposed body was discovered in the trunk of a Tesla in a Los Angeles parking garage in November 2025. Law enforcement confirmed the vehicle was registered to the singer.
Prosecutors allege Burke killed the teenager, though a specific motive has not been publicly disclosed. He was arrested without incident at his residence. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
