Morocco's Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) has issued an orange-level vigilance alert for severe weather on Thursday, April 24, and Friday, April 25, 2026. The alert warns of wind gusts reaching 80 km/h, locally intense thunderstorms, and hail in several regions of the Kingdom.
The affected areas include the northern and central regions, such as Tangier, Tetouan, Al Hoceima, Fez, Meknes, and Rabat. The DGM advises residents to exercise caution, avoid outdoor activities, and secure loose objects.
