PUMA has officially unveiled the Senegal national team's kits for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The home shirt is predominantly green, while the away shirt is white. A key design feature confirmed by the manufacturer is the presence of a single star above the team crest.
The star represents Senegal's victory at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), their first continental title. FIFA regulations permit national teams to display stars on their shirts only for World Cup tournament victories. As Senegal has not won the World Cup, they are not entitled to a World Cup star.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19, 2026, across cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Senegal qualified for the tournament by winning their group in the CAF qualifiers.
The kit's design, which leaked online in late 2025, has now been formally presented. The release follows the standard practice where national team kits are updated for major tournaments.
