On Sunday, July 19, the athletes received a visit from government officials, including the Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Relations with Institutions. The officials encouraged the young judokas and wished them success in their international outing.
The training camp has focused on technical drills and mental preparation. Coaches expressed confidence in the team's readiness for the Casablanca event, which is part of the African judo calendar.
The delegation is scheduled to depart for Casablanca later this week. The team aims to build on Senegal's tradition in judo and bring back medals.
