Senegal's football federation has announced a 21-player squad for the 2026 U17 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN U17), scheduled to take place in Morocco from March 30 to April 19, 2026. The team will compete in Group B alongside Egypt, Burkina Faso, and South Africa.
Head coach Serigne Saliou Dia selected a mix of players from domestic clubs and overseas academies. Notable inclusions are goalkeeper Mamadou Diallo and forward Ousmane Faye, both of whom played key roles in qualifying matches.
The tournament will feature 16 teams divided into four groups. Senegal aims to improve on their quarterfinal finish in the 2023 edition. The top four teams will qualify for the FIFA U17 World Cup later this year.
