A woman was arrested in Seekonk, Massachusetts, on multiple charges following a traffic stop on Thursday, April 10, 2026. According to the Seekonk Police Department, an officer conducted a stop on a vehicle for a motor vehicle violation on Route 6.
Police identified the driver as 34-year-old Ashley Silva of Seekonk. During the stop, the officer suspected Silva was operating under the influence of alcohol. She was subsequently arrested and charged with operating under the influence (OUI), second offense.
Further investigation led to additional charges. Silva was also charged with possession of a Class B substance (cocaine) and possession of a Class E substance. She was additionally cited for a marked lanes violation.
Ashley Silva was processed at the Seekonk Police Station and later arraigned in Taunton District Court. The arrest was reported in a press release from the Seekonk Police on April 11, 2026.
