The Toronto Sceptres have re-signed forward Claire Dalton to a two-year contract, the team announced on June 19, 2026. The deal will keep Dalton with the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) team through the 2027-28 season.
Dalton, 27, appeared in 28 games for the Sceptres during the 2025-26 season, recording 8 goals and 12 assists for 20 points. She was originally selected by the team in the 2024 PWHL Draft.
βClaire has been a key part of our forward group, and we're excited to have her continue with us,β said Sceptres general manager Gina Kingsbury in a statement. βHer work ethic and offensive instincts make her a valuable asset.β
Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed. The Sceptres are preparing for the 2026-27 PWHL season, which is expected to begin in late 2026.
