Samsung Electronics America has maintained its position as the market share leader in the United States for several key consumer electronics categories. According to the latest retail tracking data from Circana (formerly IRI and The NPD Group), Samsung ranked #1 in U.S. dollar sales for televisions, soundbars, monitors, and solid-state drives (SSDs) for the full year 2025.
The company's dominance in the TV market is a long-standing trend, reinforced by its premium QLED and OLED models. In the soundbar category, Samsung's offerings, often designed to pair with its TVs, have also captured the top sales position. Its leadership in monitors is attributed to demand for gaming and professional displays, while its SSD business benefits from both retail and OEM channels.
These rankings, verified by the independent market research firm Circana, are based on point-of-sale data from U.S. retailers. The results highlight Samsung's continued strength in the competitive U.S. consumer electronics landscape, where it faces rivals like LG, Sony, and various PC component manufacturers.
