Ryanair has established the first direct air link between London and the northern Moroccan city of Tetouan. The new route connects London Stansted Airport (STN) to Tetouan's Sania Ramel Airport (TTU).
The inaugural flight took place on April 2, 2026, marking a significant development in connectivity for the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region. The service is scheduled to operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The route launch is part of Ryanair's continued expansion in the Moroccan market. The airline cited the growing tourism and business potential of the region as key factors for introducing the service.
Local authorities in Tetouan have welcomed the new connection, anticipating it will facilitate travel for the Moroccan diaspora in the UK and boost inbound tourism. The flight reduces travel time significantly compared to previous options requiring connections through other Moroccan or European hubs.
