Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has announced plans to increase its flight frequency to the United States ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the US, Canada, and Mexico. The airline stated on Tuesday that it will operate 32 weekly flights to several US destinations during the tournament period.
The expanded schedule includes connections to New York, Washington D.C., and Miami, with additional frequencies to other key hubs. RAM aims to accommodate the expected surge in travel demand from Moroccan fans and international visitors traveling via Casablanca.
The 2026 World Cup marks the first time the tournament will feature 48 teams, with matches scheduled across 16 cities in North America. Morocco's national team has qualified for the event, boosting interest among Moroccan travelers.
RAM's move aligns with broader efforts by Moroccan authorities to strengthen air links with North America, leveraging the country's growing role as a transit hub between Africa and the Americas.
