Royal Air Maroc has announced the temporary suspension of several international routes connecting Morocco to Central Africa and various European cities. The decision is a direct consequence of the sharp increase in kerosene prices, which has significantly raised operational costs for the airline.
According to the company's statement, the suspended routes include flights to destinations such as Libreville, Yaoundé, and several European cities. The airline has not specified a timeline for the resumption of these services, stating that the suspension will remain in effect until market conditions stabilize.
This move reflects broader challenges faced by the aviation industry globally, as fuel costs have surged due to geopolitical tensions and supply chain disruptions. Royal Air Maroc joins other carriers in adjusting their networks to mitigate financial losses.
