Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has expanded its fleet with the delivery of a new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. The aircraft arrived at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca on the evening of Friday, April 10, 2026.
This delivery is part of the Moroccan national carrier's ongoing fleet modernization and expansion strategy. The 787-8 Dreamliner is known for its fuel efficiency and passenger comfort on long-distance routes.
The airline has previously operated Dreamliners, utilizing them on key routes to North America, including New York and Washington, D.C., as well as to destinations in Africa and the Middle East. The new aircraft will support RAM's network growth and operational efficiency.
Boeing's 787 family allows airlines to open new, non-stop routes that were previously not economically viable with older aircraft types, offering potential for further route development from Morocco.
