Morocco's National Rally of Independents (RNI) party presented its reading of the government's economic and social record on Tuesday, four months before the end of the current mandate. The party described the trajectory as 'solid and structured,' highlighting key achievements in infrastructure, social protection, and economic reforms.
According to the RNI, the government has maintained macroeconomic stability despite global challenges, with growth rates averaging above 3% in recent years. The party also pointed to the expansion of social safety nets, including the generalization of medical coverage and direct social aid programs.
However, critics note that unemployment remains high, particularly among youth, and that the cost of living has increased. The RNI's assessment comes as parties prepare for the 2026 legislative elections, with the ruling coalition seeking to defend its record.
