KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) — The third one-day international between West Indies and Sri Lanka was abandoned without a ball being bowled on Monday, June 8, 2026, due to persistent rain. Umpires called off the match at Sabina Park just after 6 p.m. local time.
The abandonment meant Sri Lanka won the three-match series 2-0, having won the first ODI by 5 wickets on June 5 and the second by 8 wickets on June 7. The second match was also reduced by rain but a result was achieved.
This was the second consecutive ODI in the series to be washed out, as the second match on June 7 was also affected by rain but completed. The series was part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
